Blogger's Wishes for Today

Bookmark and Share
Gosh I sure wish someone would begin posting their recovery/ED story.  I think that these stories would be enormously helpful for others as well as the writer.  A good way of going about this might be the 'Cliff-Note' version highlighting how, where, & why you believe you ended up making the decision to 'go for the gusto' and reach out for recovery!  Also pointing out how recovery was different than you first feared it might be, how easy or hard you found the process, what was helpful or not helpful, and especially how your THINKING MAY HAVE CHANGED from when you were embedded in the illness...

Or in short - how you kicked Shame's Butt!

Please Share Your Story of Recovery OR Illness With Us

Bookmark and Share
We at the Eating Disorder Recovery Center (EDRC) are asking individuals brave enough to share their/your 'STORY OF RECOVERY' or your 'EXPERIENCES WITH ED' with us..  We are asking this especially to help yourself and help others to get on/remain on the 'Recovery Train'.

Everyone's story is different as well as their experiences - if you can help but 1 person it will be overwhelmingly wonderful!  If you have been in recovery, you know how difficult it is to make the decision to let go of the familiar and try new things!  If you can touch one person's heart or perhaps there was someone who touched yours that is the gift of life!

We are accepting those stories on FB - www.facebook.com/eatingdisorderrecoverycenterEDRC
or on our blog here - http://addictionsnet-eatingdisorderrecovery.blogspot.com/

This is generally a rough time of year for folks suffering from eating disorders as we begin to move into the holiday seasons of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  People need to get prepared for those tough times and perhaps NOT go through them suffering with their eating disorders but on the Recovery Train for the Journey of a Lifetime!  If you have some time please share with us what you feel the need to express to someone or what you need to write!
