Shame Lies Beneath Eating Disorder Behavior

After years of working with those suffering from eating disorders and researching issues concerning 'self esteem'. I have learned that shame itself is fuels the core of disordered eating behavior.  A sense of not-good enoughness, invalid as a human being, a need to be perfect, a sense of disgust about the self etc.  If interested please find more information here:
